AND STRATEGIES TO TAKE CONTROL OF THEIR OWN MARKETING.
We’ve positioned agents, teams, and brokerages so that they own their market, build their brand to create their legacy OR
they will stay a commodity.
Positioning is the foundation of any successful real estate business. and Annett worked over the past decade with agents to create individuell customized video marketing strategies that attract clients naturally. When agents position themself in the right way, clients won’t ask, "Why you?” - they’ll ask.
If I were a real estate agent in your city, Thanksgiving week would be my time to shine, and not just with turkey and pumpkin pie. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with your clients and followers, showcase your community knowledge, and stay top of mind. Here’s exactly what I would do to leave a lasting impression:
On Monday or Tuesday, I’d create and send a personal video message to all my clients and past customers. Nothing overly polished, just a heartfelt, genuine “Happy Thanksgiving” message. In the video, I’d express my gratitude for their trust and support, reminding them of the relationship we’ve built.
A personal video shows them they’re more than just another transaction. It’s a simple yet powerful way to make people feel seen, appreciated, and connected to you.
As midweek hits, I’d record another video with recommendations for the best Black Friday deals in the area. But I wouldn’t stop there, I’d also highlight local businesses to support on Small Business Saturday.
This is more than just sharing discounts. It’s about showcasing your knowledge of the community and reinforcing your role as a resource for your clients. When you connect them to valuable opportunities, whether it’s saving money or supporting local, you’re creating goodwill that goes beyond real estate.
To close out Thanksgiving week, I’d share a video guide to the best Christmas lights and holiday displays in the area. Whether it’s a drive-through light show, a neighborhood known for its decorations, or a local event, I’d ensure my clients have everything they need to make December magical.
This not only provides useful information but also reinforces your connection to the community. Your followers will see you as someone who cares about their experience and makes life easier for them.
Your clients and followers will be thankful for the thoughtful content and the effort you put into staying connected. And as an added bonus, they’ll associate you with being the real estate agent who truly knows the community, and genuinely cares.
Try it this Thanksgiving week, and you’ll see the difference. By showing up with value, gratitude, and a little holiday cheer, you’re not just marketing your business, you’re building relationships that will last long after the turkey leftovers are gone.
