Great Video Practices
The Real Estate Video Confidence Kit
Your checklist to show up like a pro even if you’re not ready to be on camera.
Most agents feel awkward, uncertain, or overwhelmed by video. That's normal. But the truth? You don't need to go viral. You need to be seen, trusted, and remembered.
This guide gives you the fastest way to start showing up without second-guessing. Whether you're camera-ready or not, there's a path to becoming the most recognized name in your market.
3 Ways to Show Up on Video
You don't have to be a full-blown influencer to build authority through video. Here are your no-fluff options:
On-Camera Video. Be the face of your brand. Speak to your audience directly, whether it’s a 60-second reel or a full listing tour.
Slideshow / Voiceover Videos. Use images, short clips, and a voiceover to tell the story. Great for listings, just listed/sold, and community highlights.
Screen Recordings. Perfect for explaining market reports, website tours, or doing "how-to" videos for buyers and sellers.

Rhythm & Mindset Reset
Post regularly. Even if you don’t feel ready. Consistency is visibility.
Try to go live weekly. It builds confidence, trust, and reach.
Don’t overanalyze your videos. Wait at least 30 days before judging performance. Let them work.
Design a strong thumbnail. First impressions matter. Use bold text and clear visuals.
ALWAYS include a CTA (Call to Action). Examples:
"DM me for a showing"
"Comment 'Guide' for your free checklist"
"Save this for later"
