GREAT VIDEO PRACTICES For Real Estate

Doing videos' doesnt need to be complicated and doesnt requires you to be necessary in the video. Also we highly recommend you are in some form visible in your video.

You can create videos on camera but also through video clips and images producing a slideshow.

Recording your screen is another option of video presentation.

Be consistent with recording your videos and publish them on a regular basis. Consider of going live regularly at least once a week is our recommendation.

Don't get hang up on the assessment of your videos. Wait at least 30 days before making an educated decision on each of the videos performance and results.

Create or adjust to appealing Thumbnail as needed.

Your CTA (Call To Action) is important piece to a successful video performance.

Video Length's

5-15 -60 second Video

are short form videos best used as a teaser or for Stories and Reels.

1-5 minutes Video

best used for video uploads or for going Live. This is a great form to collect data for audience building.

5+ minute Video

this are considered long form videos. There are best used with video lives and educational videos.

Facebook Live Checklist

BEFORE GOING LIVE:

  • Create your content

  • Create an outline of your points

  • Write out your headline

  • Write out your promise of value

  • Write out Your Introduction

  • Write the exact text of your video title and description

  • Copy & paste title and text into Video description

  • Decide on your CTA

  • Create on-screen graphics or presentation (optional)

  • Create your give away guide (if needed)

  • Choose your outfit & accessories

  • Schedule your Facebook Live event (or not)?

  • Promote your Facebook live

THE DAY OF YOUR LIVE

  • Get camera ready’

  • Think about your backdrop/background

  • Center yourself

  • Have your beverage ready

  • Turn off all notifications, put your devices on flight mode

  • Have your opening line ready

  • Do a final mirror check

  • Turn on all gear in plenty time

  • Tech troubles can happen -it’s okay - remain calm!

DURING YOUR LIVE

  • Watch Your Camera lens

  • Take a deep breath

  • Smile you are on camera

  • Gather for 1 sec

  • Hit the Go Live button!

  • Get into your content within 1-2 seconds

  • Share your content

  • Be you

  • SEED your lives naturally with your CTA

  • Interact with your live audience

  • Answer questions when relevant

  • Sign off and make it clear what you would like your audience to do next

AFTER YOUR LIVE

  • Go back to your Video Post

  • Click the 3 dots on your video post

  • Choose Edit Post

  • Edit the caption, if needed

  • Add hashtags

  • Have a CTA

  • On the video itself > click Video Options

  • Add title if needed

  • Add up to 8 tags

  • Choose/upload your thumbnail

  • Promote video organic!

  • Promote video Paid (optional)
